Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Valetors platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. Valetors is operated by Valetors Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

1. About the platform

Valetors is an online marketplace that connects car owners ("Customers") with mobile car valeting professionals ("Valetors"). The platform provides tools for discovering, booking, and paying for car valeting services, as well as SaaS business management tools for valetors including calendar management, job tracking, route planning, and earnings dashboards.

Valetors acts as an intermediary platform. We are not a party to the contract for valeting services between Customers and Valetors. Each valetor operates as an independent business and is solely responsible for the services they provide.

2. Account registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it promptly if it changes.

You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent.

3. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking details including vehicle location, vehicle type, and any relevant access instructions. You must ensure the vehicle is reasonably accessible and that the valetor can safely carry out the agreed service at the specified location.

Customers must treat valetors with respect and professionalism. Any abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour may result in immediate account suspension.

4. Valetor responsibilities

Valetors are responsible for maintaining accurate service listings, including pricing, availability, and service descriptions. You must hold appropriate insurance for mobile car valeting, comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations, and operate your business lawfully.

Valetors must deliver services to a professional standard, arrive within the agreed time window, and communicate promptly with customers regarding any delays or issues. You are responsible for your own tax obligations, including registering with HMRC and filing returns as required.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Customers pay at the time of booking or upon job completion, depending on the booking type. Valetors receive payouts to their connected Stripe account according to the standard payout schedule.

Valetors may be subject to a platform service fee, which will be clearly displayed before you accept a job. All prices displayed to customers include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust fees with reasonable notice.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation policies depend on the booking type and how far in advance the cancellation is made. Specific cancellation terms are displayed during the booking flow and form part of these terms.

Customers who cancel within the permitted window will receive a full refund. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. Valetors who cancel confirmed jobs repeatedly may have their accounts restricted or suspended.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. Disputes about service quality should be raised within 48 hours of service completion.

7. Limitation of liability

Valetors Ltd provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of valeting services provided by valetors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valetors Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms shall not exceed the greater of the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim or one hundred pounds (GBP 100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

8. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Valetors platform are owned by or licensed to Valetors Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

By uploading content to the platform (such as profile photos, service descriptions, or reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the platform.

9. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, receive repeated complaints, or if we reasonably believe your continued use poses a risk to the platform or other users.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, any outstanding payments owed to valetors will be processed according to the standard payout schedule. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We encourage you to contact us first if you have a dispute so we can attempt to resolve it informally before any formal proceedings.

12. Contact

If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at support@valetors.com. We aim to respond to all enquiries within two business days.
